"Our father Matt Singh lived a short but happy life. He was born in Birmingham and joined the Army when he was 16. Stationed in Germany he made many friends who he cherished, and met his ex-wife who is our mum. He really did get to live his life to the max; sky-diving, skiing, mountain climbing, helicopter rides, severe army exercises and being an amazing basketball player."
